Last Minute Chance: Weigh in on Race and the Recession

Monday, April 13th, 2009

compact_recession_webThere has been a lot of debate over the last several months about whether or not the stimulus package and other economic policies of the Obama administration will be successful in curing America’s economic woes. And no one is really sure what the answer to that question is.

One thing we do know is that health and prosperity will not be wide-spread in America or across the world until we address the consistent assaults on vulnerable communities by the policies of the world’s economic superpowers. So don’t miss the Compact for Racial Justice Phone Forum on Race and Recession Tuesday, April 14 at 1 pm PST / 4pm EST. You have to RSVP, but there’s still time left! Thanks to Race Wire for getting the word out about this.
